Anna Hazare surrounded by anti-national elements: Union minister Narayanasamy

CHENNAI: Launching a toxic attack Team Anna, Union Minister V Narayanasamy on Saturday charged that Anna Hazare is surrounded by "anti-national elements", and they support the "foreign forces".
"Anna is a simple man, but he is surrounded by anti-national elements, and the people who are supported by foreign forces," Minister of State at the PMO told the Chennai airport.
He criticized the members of Team Enter Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi, wants to know "what happened to vast sums of money collected last year (corruption) agitation."
"Bedi met with some of the claims (over bloated travel receipts), he said.
Narayanasamy claimed that the number of "self-proclaimed" leaders without public support and those who do not meet the election to threaten the government in the Team Anna and yoga guru Ramdev, who have teamed up to launch a new offensive and the government of corruption and black money.
He claimed that the Agency took steps to restore all the black money, and had come out of the White Paper recently.
The "long process" because of the work of the governments of those countries, and certain other procedures, he said, and asked the reputation of Ramdev and other team members Anna.
There are allegations of wrongdoing coal mining blocks, he said the Manmohan Singh-led government was "transparent".
"Our government is transparent. Prime Minister wanted to be an open form of coal block allocation in 2004."
He claimed there was no transparency during the NDA government and BJP demanded, then the Chief Ministers Vasundhara eyeliner (Rajasthan) and Raman Singh (Chattisgarh), the West Bengal government had opposed the government's decision to auction coal blocks.
Tenders were asked on the basis of advertising and the Prime Minister was not to blame, because he had followed an open process, he said, adding the CBI was investigating the matter.
The arguments of the PMO is "politically motivated," he said.
